Mike Meyer

Mike Meyer is an entrepreneur, author, health care expert, and founder and host of the CCX Cancer Summit held each year in NYC. He is the President of Meyer Consulting. Most recently he co-authored an op-ed in the Wall Street Journal titled Medical Lockdown will Cause A Disease Surge. He is known for his work with leading cancer, academic health systems, health insurers, associations, and other health care organizations in the US and Europe. He is the co-founder of the Institute for Mental Health Research.

Meyer’s early career was as vice president in charge of the New York office of Amherst Associates, which went public in 1981. He subsequently became a senior partner and member of the Board of Witt Kieffer before founding Meyer Consulting in 2007.

Meyer founded Cancer Care at the Crossroads (CCX) Summit in 2016. This one-of-a-kind international event brings together senior health care executives to discuss challenges and opportunities in oncology. Last year Meyer Consulting’s executive search practice was acquired by Westwood & Wilshire https://westwoodwilshire.com/, one of the premier firms in life sciences and technology.

Meyer was a board member of Summit Select, part of Summit Medical Group which was recently merged with CityMD in New York in a first of its kind merger with Warburg Pincus assuming a majority interest in the combined company. He is a member of the executive committee of the Institute for Mental Health and was a board member and Gala Chair for the Scottsdale Cultural Council/Scottsdale Center for the Performing Arts. He has been widely quoted on healthcare, mental health and retiree topics in healthcare and business publications. He is the author of Catastrophic Illness and Catastrophic Health Insurance published by the Heritage Foundation.
