Abisoye Ajose

Abisoye Ajose is a Public Health and Development Professional with superb skills in data analysis, data visualization, project management, research, monitoring and evaluation.

Abisoye earned a Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology from the Lagos State University, Nigeria and a Masters’s degree in Public Health, Medical Statistics track from the College of Medicine, University of Lagos, Nigeria.

She has provided technical support in project management, monitoring, evaluation for projects funded by International Agencies such as the British Council Nigeria, and Global Affairs Canada including coordinating the project implementation, monitoring and evaluation of 12 community-based organizations located in 3 Senatorial Districts of Lagos, Nigeria.

Abisoye is also an Adolescents Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights Advocate who has sensitized 1,000 adolescents about the adverse impact of teenage pregnancy, unsafe methods of contraception and equipped teenagers with life skills on how to manage sexual pressure and cope with peer pressure and Academic challenges.

She has also been involved in research work funded by ActionAid Nigeria and United States Agency for International Development (USAID) where she was instrumental in data collection and reporting thereby identifying barriers militating against gender equality and social Inclusion among vulnerable women, girls and marginalised groups in Lagos and Osun States.

Abisoye is a fellow of Young African Leaders Initiative Network and a Global Health Development Fellow at Young Beninese Leaders Association.

She works and lives in Lagos, Nigeria.
